TORONTO EAST BICYCLE FESTIVAL
It all started when:
Six years ago, two small Scarborough cycling groups - TO35Cycles and Ward 36 Cyclists - got together wanting to do more for cycling in Scarborough & Toronto, so they launched the Scarborough Southwest Bike Rodeo. In the first three years, this event engaged community partners and averaged 200+ very happy cycle participants. In 2015, the event took on bigger goals and became the Toronto East Bike Festival. After the successful first event they wanted to reach even more people so they joined the Crossroads of the Danforth BIA in their feature summer event Wheels on the Danforth which celebrates all things wheels.
